As you know that almost all softwares or items on Windows XP have Properties menu inside its context menu, you can open context menu with right click it. Usually, properties menu contains all setting about its software / items. This time I want share to remove Properties menu from Recycle Bin so the other users cann't change your Recycle Bin settings.
OK, open your Registry Editor via click Start - Run and then type regedit inside it then press Enter. After Registry Editor has opened move to registry path : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | policies | Explorer and then highlight Explorer key. Then right click on empty space at the right panel and choose New - DWORD value menu and give it name NoPropertiesRecycleBin then press Enter.
Double click NoPropertiesRecycleBin value and after its dialog has opened change the value from 0 to 1 then click OK button. At last close the Registry Editor then logoff your computer and login again.
Try it with right click the Recycle Bin icon, Properties menu has gone.
