When our computer begin to slow down, first time we're like a blindman because we don't know from where we must begin to fix it. Actually, Microsoft had gives a tool that calls bootvis to analyze your computer and find what driver or what item that causing your computer be slowing down. But Microsoft has been removed link that linked to bootvis but you still can find it at Softpedia (I found it on Google) and I want to write hot using bootvis.

After you download and get bootvis.msi file, double click it to start install it. Just follow the installation steps. If you've finish the installation, you can find bootvis in Start - All Programs - Microsoft Bootvis.

ust click it to open bootvis. You'll faced with empty window, if you want to begin trace your computer, click Trace - Next Boot + Driver Delays menu and then you'll asked how many times you'll repeat the trace progress. For the first time, I suggest you to fill Number of Repititions with more than once. Because if you trace it twice you will know, what the drivers that make your system slow down consistently, click OK button. Then Windows will counting down to restart your computer, you can also click Reboot Now button to restart computer directly.
During trace progress don't touch anything other than logon to your account if it restarted, lets bootvis doing its job. Once the trace is complete, your computer will restart again and will repeat it until your repetitions value is reached.
After the progress is completed, bootvis will display the result, if it doesn't display, open manually the bootvis then click File - Open menu and usually the result files save in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Bootvis folder and named such as TRACE_BOOT+DRIVERS_1_1.BIN, find the newest file.
You'll display several informations in there but the most important information that I need is Driver Delay information. Find the longest bar that indicates that it takes your booting time and resources too much. Then put your cursor mouse on bar and then a tooltip text will displayed its the device driver filename. After you get the trouble maker device driver, you can try to optimize them. One of the solution that you can take is update to the lastest driver from its manufacture.
You can also optimize your computer with it, just click Trace - Optimize System menu then you'll asked to reboot your computer then wait it until finished.
