If you're a MSDOS user since 13 years ago maybe you still remember about config.sys and autoexec.bat that have function to set our MSDOS variable. That's long time ago. But do you know Windows XP still using a part of syntax to set its Environment Variable ?

If you want to display variable environment in GUI mode going to right click My Computer icon then click Properties menu (you can also open it through Control Panel - System). Click Advanced tab then click Environment Variables button and your Environment Variables will displayed.
And second way, open your Command Prompt console by typing cmd in your Run menu textbox, then type set at your prompt console and you'll get all your variables. Then you can check your variable such as PATH variable.
